Get To Know Cheryl Burnett! Q & A Time With Our Southern Sales Rep

Cheryl Burnett has been with Livie & Luca just short of a decade and she is the sweetest, most charming lady you will ever meet.

Tell us about yourself. How did you get started with representing and selling brands?

I'm a Texan, born and raised. My career began in education as a special ed and first grade teacher.  After the birth of my only child, Heather, and loss of my husband, I inherited the family business and became a fulltime children's apparel representative.

In 2009 one of my favorite stores, the Toggery in Little Rock, AR, encouraged me to contact Livie & Luca.  I have been with the brand ever since and I love how whimsical and playful the styling is. Each season brings such excitement with the unveiling of the new line. I am always thrilled to share the designs and incredible detailing with my accounts.

What brings you joy?

The biggest joy in my life after my daughter was the arrival of my twin grandchildren Emma and Nate. After watching their little feet grow I became even more aware that fit, comfort, and quality are the primary factors parents consider when choosing children's shoes.

What styles do you or your grandkids select each season?

Each season I love watching Nate and Emma select their favorite styles. Emma, being a budding fashionista wants every single pair in each color.

My favorite shoe for Nate was Gordon which he lovingly called his duck boots. Now he favors the Hayes, he never wants to take them off because they are so comfortable. Emma has always loved Tiempo which made her feel grown up. Now she loves Aurora which she says makes her a better ballerina.

What does the future hold?

Looking forward, it's comforting to know there are companies like Livie & Luca that give back to the community and are so concerned with the environment.

I feel blessed to have been on this journey with all the amazing and creative people who have made Livie & Luca the success it is.
